The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Supervisor manages the operations and administration of the Graduate Medical Education department, including but not limited to observers, medical students, and rotating residents and fellows. GME Supervisor continually assesses and directs a wide range of programmatic issues, including long-range planning, developing projects, analyzing workflows, maintaining departmental databases, communicating with students, residents, fellows, program coordinators, and physicians, and managing internal and external relations. This position works with a high level of autonomy requires a high degree of initiative and independent judgment, and must exercise discretion with high volumes and complex, confidential information. The GME Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manages onboarding process for high volume of observers, medical students, and rotating residents and fellows and coordinates with outside programs and schools for timely onboarding.
- Provides oversight for all processes related to observers, medical students, and rotating residents and fellows at all INTEGRIS Health facilities.
- Coordinates with EMR education for Epic training and establishment of SER as appropriate for student, resident, and fellow rotation needs.
- Manages affiliation agreements between INTEGRIS Health facilities and outside programs/schools, reviews TractManager alerts for upcoming renewals and program updates, and in collaboration with Legal, initiates agreements for new rotations.
- Develops and distributes schedules for Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine students completing core rotations at INTEGRIS Health facilities.
- Assists the Director Graduate Medical Education in other activities required to manage and/or enhance graduate, undergraduate, and observation programs for INTEGRIS Health facilities and integrate and/or develop future programs.
- In conjunction with Director Graduate Medical Education establishes and implements departmental goals and objectives applicable to areas of responsibility.
- Supports Director Graduate Medical Education in development of policies, procedures and processes required to manage graduate, undergraduate, and observation at INTEGRIS Health facilities.
- Collaborates with Community Health Improvement to track and report Community Benefit data.
- Prepares and submits monthly report to Pharmacy for 340B compliance monitoring.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Bachelors degree required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Microsoft Office experience
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
