Behavorial Health Technician

HealingUS Centers is searching for a committed and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our dedicated team in helping individuals overcome behavioral health challenges. In this crucial role, you will provide essential support to clients enrolled in our programs, fostering a safe and nurturing environment conducive to recovery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting clients with daily activities, such as personal care, transportation, and emotional support.
• Monitoring and documenting client behavior and progress, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Facilitating group sessions and therapeutic activities to encourage client engagement.
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed and that a clean, secure environment is maintained.
• Upholding patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in psychology or a related field is preferred.

- Experience in mental health or substance abuse settings is a plus.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.

- Empathetic nature and a commitment to assisting individuals in need.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
