Position Overview

As part of that mission, we are seeking a Senior Manager, EMR Integrations to lead the strategy and execution oversight of EMR and LIS integrations across our clinical network.
This role is responsible for driving cross-functional alignment, executing program direction, and ensuring seamless delivery of integration initiatives that scale with our business. The ideal candidate brings a combination of technical fluency, healthcare systems expertise, and strong program leadership to oversee project execution, manage stakeholder engagement, and deliver integrations that are compliant, efficient, and clinically impactful.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Execute on the EMR Integration Strategy: Own and evolve the roadmap for scalable, high-impact EMR and LIS integrations across diverse healthcare systems
- Oversee Cross-Functional Execution: Coordinate efforts across engineering, product, compliance, lab operations, and commercial teams to deliver integrations on time and aligned with clinical workflows.
- Ensure Compliance & Security: Maintain rigorous standards for HIPAA, CLIA/CAP, and data security across all integrations and documentation.
- Manage Key Vendor Relationships: Lead engagement with interface engine providers, middleware vendors, and third-party integration partners to ensure reliability and performance.
- Support Commercial Success: Partner closely with Sales and Client Success to tailor integration strategies to customer needs, support pre-sales conversations, and deliver a differentiated onboarding experience.
- Enable Post-Go-Live Success: Monitor integration performance, resolve issues, and lead enhancement efforts that drive long-term customer value.
- Translate Voice of Customer: Capture client feedback and collaborate with Product & Tech teams to inform roadmap decisions and improve integration capabilities.
- Standardize & Scale Delivery: Develop and maintain best practices, documentation, and KPIs to drive consistency, efficiency, and quality across all integration efforts.
- Foster Continuous Improvement: Use retrospectives, data insights, and client input to optimize internal processes and elevate the integration program over time.
- Act as a Technical Advisor: Provide guidance to both clients and internal teams on integration design, data standards, and troubleshooting complex issues.

Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Other)
Required
- Bachelors Degree and 12+ years' experience in health-IT integration programs with deep knowledge of HL7, FHIR, APIs, interface engines, and LIS platforms.
- Strong expertise with Epic (Aura experience a plus) and other major EHRs; able to map clinical workflows into technical build and configuration.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects while maintaining rigorous documentation (workflows, test plans, go-live artifacts).
- Track record of troubleshooting interface issues and optimizing post-go-live performance in diagnostic-lab or clinical environments.
