Job Description
WAREHOUSE WORKER - IMMEDIATE OPENINGS!
$18.50/hour!
Norcross, GEORGIA/1st shift-6 AM to 2:30 PM / 8 AM to 4:30 PM / 3:30 PM to 12 AM. FULL BENEFITS -Medical, Dental, Vision-30 DAYS! Leading manufacturing company seeking warehouse workers for immediate full time career opportunities with a min of 1-2 years, must have experience using a forklift-Cherry Picker/Reach and Forklift, no exceptions to qualify! Positive, upbeat with a solid employment history! Must not be afraid of heights, experience unloading trucks! Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate II receives, unpacks, checks, and stows warehouses materials. Picks, packs, crates, and ships product to fill orders. Conducts light assembly work, operates power equipment, and performs a variety of tasks under direct supervision.
Perform quality checks as needed and properly record results if necessary. Alert Leadsperson of any quality problems, part shortages, machine breakdowns or any other situations.
Key Accountabilities
- Off-loading trucks utilizing forklift and pallet jack
- Verify that the quality, type, and amount of materials received are accurate
- Breaking down freight – Hand off-loading of product to consolidated put-away location
- Picking product orders – Hand loading product to pallets
- Packaging outbound shipments – Wraps, straps or over pack boxing of product
- Manifesting UPS shipments
- Creates bills of lading for truck carriers
- Produce and attach identifying tags to product or shipments
- Fulfills all safety responsibilities
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor/Lead
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements
Must be able to work shift hours and overtime as needed!
Forklift experience required to qualify!
Must have experience unloading trucks and not be afraid of heights;
Able to lift upto 40 lbs
Drug Test/Reference & Background Check Required!
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Utilization of various forklifts
- High School Degree or equivalent preferred
- On a continuous basis: work in a standing position, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with both LTL and UPS shipping
- Good communication, data entry, basic math and organization skills
- Experience working with standard hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a team setting
