Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Building Engineer/Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our facilities management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the optimal functioning of our building infrastructure. This is a 12 week temp assignment, work is normal daytime hours with every 3rd week being paid on call support.

Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical).
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, performing repairs as needed to ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct minor carpentry, painting, and general building repairs.
- HVAC Systems:
- Monitor and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Change filters, clean coils, and perform other routine tasks to ensure HVAC systems operate optimally.
- Assist with diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues.
- Electrical Systems:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Replace faulty electrical components such as outlets, switches, and circuit breakers.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Plumbing Systems:
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
- Address plumbing leaks, clogs, and other issues promptly to minimize disruption.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Participate in safety training and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Building Operations:
- Monitor building automation systems and respond to alarms and issues.
- Assist with the coordination of building access and security systems.
- Support facility-related projects and initiatives as required.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Provide regular status updates to the Facilities Manager.
- Document any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards.
