With more than 450 exceptional employees located in ten different countries, Teamworks’ software solutions drive the operations of the most recognizable sports properties in the world.

We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to take the lead in expanding the reach of Teamworks Intelligence within the collegiate Division 1 football market. In this high-impact, high-visibility role, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming how elite programs leverage data and analytics to evaluate talent, optimize recruiting, and gain a strategic edge. You’ll partner with forward-thinking leaders across athletic departments to deliver intelligence solutions that power roster building, player development, and long-term success.

This is more than a sales role — it’s a chance to drive business development in one of the most strategic growth areas for Teamworks, while shaping how data-driven decision-making is adopted across college sports. If you thrive at the intersection of sports, strategy, and technology — and know how to build trust in complex ecosystems — this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of athlete performance management in one of the fastest-growing companies in sports tech.

Game Plan - How You'll Drive Impact:

  • Accelerate revenue growth for the Intelligence product within the Division 1 Football market by identifying, engaging, and converting high-value opportunities that drive strategic expansion.
  • Lead outbound business development efforts, leveraging your industry network and strategic outreach to identify net new opportunities within Division 1 athletic departments.
  • Own and execute a full-cycle sales strategy, including top-of-funnel prospecting, consultative selling, product demonstrations, pricing negotiation, and deal closing.
  • Establish and expand relationships with key decision-makers, including Athletic Directors, Head Coaches, GMs, and Player Personnel staff, positioning Teamworks Intelligence as the go-to solution for competitive advantage.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding each prospect’s recruiting and evaluation process and mapping their needs to Teamworks’ Intelligence capabilities—including background checks, psychological profiling, data-driven evaluations, and draft strategy.
  • Represent the voice of the customer, delivering feedback to internal stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Marketing to influence the roadmap and GTM strategy based on real-world insights from the field.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Implementation and Customer Success, to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client satisfaction post-sale.
  • Partner with Marketing to educate the market through webinars, conference engagements, and strategic content partnerships, elevating awareness of Teamworks Intelligence across the collegiate sports landscape.
  • Use CRM and pipeline tools effectively to forecast revenue, report key metrics, and ensure accurate pipeline hygiene and sales discipline.
  • Develop territory and account plans for high-priority segments, including Power 5 and Group of 5 programs, identifying key organizational influencers and tailored messaging strategies.

Player Profile - What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field; advanced experience or certifications in scouting or analytics are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in collegiate Division 1 football or the NFL, with a focus on player personnel, recruiting operations, or performance management.
  • Deep network within college football and a passion for helping programs leverage data to gain a competitive edge.
  • Familiarity with the college football ecosystem, including recruiting timelines, evaluation criteria, compliance, and front-office operations.
  • Hands-on experience with scouting systems, intelligence platforms, or recruiting analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence high-level stakeholders such as Athletic Directors, Head Coaches, and Player Personnel leadership.
  • Success in consultative business development or SaaS sales is a plus.
