Position Summary:
The Manager of Compensation + Benefits provides support to the Total Rewards function on various initiatives, activities and projects across the department. Areas of focus include Benefits and Wellness, ESG, Reporting and Data Management, Compensation Analysis and Workforce Planning as well as Internal Communications.
This position reports to the Director, Total Rewards. The Manager supports an employee population of ~1,200, based in the US and Canada. The Manager will engage with employees based in the corporate offices, retails stores and distribution centers.
The position is based in the NYC office, requiring a minimum of four days per week in-office.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits and Wellness
- Assist with the design, engagement and administration of Delta’s Wellness Committee
- Manage the annual Open Enrollment Process
- Manage Leave of Absences and Accommodations
- Liaise with Director, Total Rewards to recommend continued improvements to health and wellness programs ensuring Delta remains competitive
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs and to ensure a well-rounded and valuable benefits package to employees
Reporting and Data Management
- Initiate and manage HR audits by tracking changes across different platforms on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Manage data integrity and reporting for the HR systems including but not limited to our Organizational Charts, LMS Activations and Deactivations, Compensation Tool Activation and Deactivations, ect.,
- Execute HR Headcount Reporting, Turnover Reporting and HR KPI tracking
- Utilize PowerBI to support the People and Recruitment Dashboards
- Support HRIS initiatives and projects including but not limited to Employee Central enabling effective HR service delivery
- Create and maintain a Year End Total Rewards Statement summarizing the total value of our compensation packages
- Create and maintain Total Rewards FAQ knowledge base including but not limited to the process library, benefit one pagers, and how-to guides for associates and HR.
Compensation and Workforce Planning
- Ensure pay program compliance, governance, minimum wage changes, and pay transparency rules are implemented
- Support annual PFP and Compensation review process
- Manage employee relocations
ESG / CSR
- Assist with Corporate Social Responsibility design, architecture, and communications
- Execute Employee Recognition Programs (Re: milestones)
- Special projects aligned with our corporate Sustainability US Strategy
- FLA point of contact
Internal Communications
- Act as a point of contact for DeltaLink, our internal intranet
- Effectively communicate the organization’s total rewards offerings to staff, ensuring a clear understanding of the available programs
Other
- Maintain a flexible and adaptable mindset by continually evaluating, revising and responding with agility to meet rapidly evolving business needs, and perform other functions or duties as assigned
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in partnership with legal and compliance teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, human resources, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant HR Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented, highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS, payroll, and similar
