Job Description Summary
The Digital Transformation Sr Program Manager (DTSPM) is part of the Integrated Supply Chain’s (ISC) Digital Transformation & Intelligent Automation organization, reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Portfolio and Program Management (SPPM)This role is responsible for developing the strategy and leading execution of the Digital Quality technology implementations in BD’s manufacturing sites worldwide, including but not limited to eDHR (electronic device history records). The DTSPM collaborates with leaders in Technology, OpEx, Business, and Manufacturing to establish a cohesive strategy, roadmap, and implementation plan(s) supporting achievement of use-case and company goals. Digital Quality initiatives enable data accessibility, connectivity; establish standards and implement monitoring processes & corrective actions should deviations occur. This role endorses views, plans, and processes aligned with BD’s Digital Transformation vision and strategy.
The Sr Program Manager for Digital Quality partners closely with Finance to build a robust business-case / ROI model; TGS (Technology & Global Services) to ensure an adequate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Digital Deployment leaders to establish a resource framework for effective execution in sites. Applies technical and program leader expertise enabling value & benefits realization as defined by the business-case.
Additionally, the Sr PM contributes to defining, developing, and maintaining global program / project management standards, processes, and tools. This includes but is not limited to governance, change management / communication, and use of Lean principles. The DTPM sets expectations for and guides Project Leads in the application of established standards and best practices.

o Strategic Planning & Readiness (assessment)
o Deployment & Implementation (execution)
o Adoption & Scaling (utilization / replication / expansion)
o Transition to Performance Measurement & Sustaining (metrics / continuous improvement)

Primary Responsibilities:
Establish the global strategy and lead deployment and execution of the eDHR / other digital technology implementations in BD’s manufacturing sites worldwide.
Enable optimized business performance and resource utilization through implementation of Digital application(s), specifically in the area of Production & Process Control improvements (value-generation).
Implement change management and communication plans for clear alignment and ownership within business units, functions, and manufacturing sites in phases of planning, deployment, and expansion.
Identify, engage, and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional, business, and site stakeholders to confirm business case and benefits, develop a global roadmap with implementation plans to prioritize and scale, establish commitment for budget and resources, and to execute plans.
Maintain a comprehensive capital spending plan for Digital Quality technologies, including breakdowns by business unit, and site spend type (CAPEX and OPEX), and spend timing over a 3-year period.
Continually monitor and identify risks and opportunities, and coordinate responses by working closely with technology, OpEx and business unit operations leadership.
Build organizational capabilities by establishing training content and opportunities, clearly defining resource model(s) in a digital environment, and creating a robust global professional network for collaboration of learnings, best practices and idea sharing.
Stay aligned with project leaders to monitor progress on initiatives and escalates roadblocks to DT Office / function / business unit operations leadership as required.
Directly supervise and mentor two (2) Project Leads.
