Senior Game Producer, League of Legends - Cosmetics

As a Senior Game Producer on the League of Legends Cosmetics team, you will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to optimize, track, and strategize our outsourcing initiatives with external vendors. You will work closely with creative teams to develop efficient art pipelines, establish project management systems, and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for external development partners as we ship cosmetic products for League of Legends.

In this role, you will also oversee tracking and data collection for external vendors, continuously analyzing and improving workflows to enhance efficiency and quality. You will also be expected to work with, and oversee, internal development teams when needed to help ensure smooth production delivery and oversight for cosmetics. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact between the Los Angeles Cosmetics team and the Riot Singapore Production team, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of cosmetic product development. This position requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for process optimization, and a passion for delivering high-quality content in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with creative teams to develop and refine art workflows, pipelines, project management systems, and KPIs for external development partners.
• Oversee tracking and data collection for external vendors to review and improve working systems and cost ROI analysis. 
• Act as the primary liaison between the Los Angeles Cosmetics team and Riot Singapore Production team, ensuring smooth production and delivery of cosmetic products.
• Ensure strong collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement in the working relationship between the Los Angeles and Riot Singapore teams. 
• Optimize external development processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability for Cosmetics.
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions on outsourcing efficiency and production timelines.
• Manage and improve the Cosmetics team’s maturity, performance, and health when it comes to outsourcing.
• Collaborate closely with internal producers and teams to support and enhance the company's outsourcing strategy by creating standards and best practices.
• Assess vendor capabilities through comprehensive capacity planning, throughput analysis, and oversight of key delivery KPIs. 
• Ensure Riot and vendors are set up for success through smooth contract negotiations, strong  productive partnerships and working agreements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-standard art pipelines and tools to support effective external development.
• Report regularly to senior management and stakeholders on the status of outsourced projects and key performance metrics.
• Mange and oversee internal development teams when needed in order to ensure smooth delivery and oversight of League of Legends products. 
• Light travel to vendors in order to help build and facilitate relationships, training, feedback and project kick offs. 

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience shipping games, applications, or software in a production/product/program management role
• A minimum of 5 years working with pipelines using external vendors, experience creating contracts, working agreements, outsourcing pipelines, data tracking and improving working systems
• Experience leading teams through feature development (planning, execution, delivery, post-release support)
• Strong understanding of art pipelines, including modeling, texturing, animation, and rendering processes
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal teams and external partners effectively
• Experience with live games/services and regular patch cadences
• Experience building frameworks; bringing clarity and conciseness
• Strong familiarity with production process (agile, scrum, waterfall) and tools (Jira, and Airtable)
• Experience with data tracking, reporting, production tools development, throughput analysis and capability planning

Desired Qualifications:

• Language knowledge of Mandarin Chinese

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
