As a Retirement Plan Documents Manager, you will ensure organizational objectives are met by planning, directing, and controlling the activities of a unit or units within the department.  Along with launching projects in order to effectively manage all business and technical requirements and leads performance management efforts to identify and work through barriers to achieve consistent improvements. You will oversee workflow on a departmental level, to ensure that all departmental and regulatory deadlines are met and monitors and resolves ongoing issues with high touch, high profile clients. Stay current on changing defined contribution plan document requirements.  As a manager, you will frequently participate in client meetings pertaining to plan documents.

  • Create, monitor and follow-up on execution plans
  • Talent development – attracts, retains and develops a highly talented staff
  • Internal/External Communications – high levels of communication is key to presenting a cohesive, united service organization
  • Changing document requirements driven by regulatory and law changes
  • Process changes with regard to 403(b) regulations
  • Diverse plan types requiring documents

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in a business-related field  
  • 3+ years prior experience working with retirement plans and/or plan documents
  • 2+ years prior experience managing teams
  • Project management skills; problem solving skills; process improvement skills
  • Excellent communication skills; coaching and counseling
  • QKA and/or TGPC designations and plan document software experience a plus
