As a Transportation Security Officer: Full Time Airport Patrol Digital Records in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Pay Rate: $24.25 / Hour

Requirements:

  • 18+ Years of Age
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminal areas, public spaces, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, unattended property, access concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate airport personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and communication protocols.
  • Assist with access control, traffic and pedestrian flow, and directions for travelers and visitors while helping to deter unauthorized activity at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
