JOB SUMMARY

This job is responsible for a variety of facets of managing the customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool and processes used by the Sales team. Ensures Sales Staff is set-up and trained in the use of the CRM tool, and drives usage and overall effectiveness of the tool. The incumbent is also responsible to represent the Sales organization on corporate projects (e.g. new products, services or processes) in addition to offering Sales and Marketing customer solutions support (e.g. stocking promotional items).


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure Sales staff receive required onboarding and training on the CRM system as well as ongoing user support. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modifications to the CRM tool and new capabilities in order to educate Sales teams and drive a more tailored effective experience with the CRM tool for Sales management. Create and maintain CRM tool training materials. Conduct training sessions as needed on new capabilities or refreshers as needed. 
  • Support strategic initiatives, small to large projects and ad-hoc enhancements to improve the CRM tool and processes. Support various partners within the Organization including, but not limited to Analytics, Marketing, Underwriting and Competitive Intelligence with relevant sales data, training and report creation within the CRM tool. Assist with Enterprise-wide change management, user-adoption and support of the Salesforce.com application as well as other Marketing and Sales enablement projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with analyses to determine historical trends, glean forward-looking insights and provide recommendations to achieve sales goals. Identify opportunities for enhancements and improvements to the CRM tool, designing and configuring options for our customers. Support work with HMHS (IT) on testing and deploying the changes to production. Collaborate with the COE (Center of Excellence) and Salesforce community of practice to drive best practices and future roadmap capabilities that involve critical and complex changes to the tool.
  • Participate in and/or lead, multi-faceted projects that ensure divisional compliance with regulatory or legal requirements as assigned by divisional leadership. The incumbent analyzes issues with regulatory or legal implications, assists in development of action plans to ensure compliance, organizes resources to achieve implementation; supports implementation and reports results. Coordinates with other departments, including information systems, regulatory affairs, or the law department. Complete research and analyze issues. Anticipate impacts and propose solutions to business issues. Perform analysis and design changes for process issues crossing functional areas to ensure accurate and timely project completion. Assist in managing resolution of sensitive issues. Overcomes internal barriers and continually reinforces strong client relationship.
  • Supports the oversight of the opportunity pipeline data for the commercial Sales team, working directly with senior management to improve and accelerate the sales process, drive best practices and increase user adoption. Collaborate with other Salesforce partners (marketing, product, underwriting, etc.) that support the sales processes within the CRM tool to share best practices. Develop reports and dashboards to support specified processes, goals and key business metrics. Research and stay up to speed on industry trends within the Salesforce/CRM tool space.
  • Provide analytical support in the development of various Sales Enablement projects and data analysis of a complex nature.
  • Maintain user access to the CRM tool ensuring roles and profiles are set-up and assigned correctly, as well as creating and assigning users to the correct public and chatter groups.
  • May influence Sales’ product portfolio, rating, and financial profitability; Enhance or maintain operational capabilities; and improve or maintain Sales’ working relationships with internal and external customers.

EXPERIENCE


Required

  • 3 years in the Healthcare industry
  • 1 year working with CRM Tool
  • 1 year of Reporting 


Preferred

  • 1 year in Training/development
  • 1 year using Salesforce
  • 1 year as a Sales Enablement Analyst or Internal Business System Analyst
