The Clinical Educator position in the Department of Talent & Organizational Performance (TOP) assists in providing classroom and lab instruction to support the Ambulatory Service Orientation and annual Learn Serve Inspire skills training/ evaluation. The role also assists in technical & educational support for RQI training and as a classroom instructor for AHA Training programs (ACLS/ BLS/ PALS). The Clinical Educator may also periodically assist the Clinical Program Manager mock drills, Code Blue data collection, and analysis.
Position Summary:
Works collaboratively with department staff members on clinical teams. Will work with Coordinators in scheduling needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2 years of relevant work experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
RN, EMT, or RT with strong clinical experience and background.
Degree in specific healthcare discipline, education, or healthcare administration. Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Current (or willingness to obtain) AHA Provider/ Instructor in multiple disciplines.
Current clinical experience or clinical instruction experience.
Interest in learning and teaching new skills.
Experience with, commitment to, and competence in dealing with diverse adult populations.
Strong facilitation, education, and coaching skills.
