Position Title (Classification Title): Adjunct Instructor Pool Position for Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering (HMCSE) Working Title: Adjunct Instructor Job Summary: The University of West Florida's Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering (HMCSE) is seeking qualified part-time adjunct instructors to teach: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Earth and Environmental Science, Information Technology, Mathematics and Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics.The college is building a pool of adjuncts for teaching opportunities for upcoming semesters. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis. Your application will be reviewed by the appropriate academic department. Department COSE Dean's Office FLSA: Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Holds at least the master's degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure. Position Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. Preferred Qualifications Master’s or higher degree in appropriate field of specialization or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution and 18 graduate hours in the
field of teaching. The ideal candidate will be flexible and creative with experience teaching in both face-to-face and online learning environments. Special Requirements or Considerations of the Job:
