About Parameta Solutions:
Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and BurtonTaylor Consulting.
Role Overview:
As the Senior Manager of External Financial Reporting for Parameta Solutions, you will manage the company’s timely and accurate SEC filings. This role reports to the CAO and is responsible for managing all Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings and ensuring compliance with SEC regulations, accounting standards (IFRS), and internal controls. As a key leader within the finance team, you will work closely with the CFO, CAO, legal, and compliance departments to maintain the integrity of financial disclosures and support the company’s capital markets activities. The position requires a hands-on leader who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, driving continuous improvement in external reporting processes and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and transparency.
Role Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all SEC reports, including but not limited to Forms 20-F, 6-K, and proxy statements, ensuring compliance with SEC rules, regulations, and U.S. GAAP.
Ensure accurate and transparent financial disclosures, meeting the company's regulatory and investor expectations. Manage the drafting and review of financial statements and footnotes for SEC filings in Workiva.
Serve as the primary contact for external auditors in matters related to SEC reporting. Work closely with auditors and the finance team to facilitate a smooth audit process and ensure timely completion of audits.
Maintain and enhance internal control processes related to financial reporting and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Work closely with the legal, investor relations, and accounting teams to ensure alignment of financial disclosures and support broader financial communications, including earnings releases and investor presentations.
Drive continuous improvement in the SEC reporting process, implementing best practices and leveraging technology to streamline reporting and enhance accuracy.
Monitor and assess the impact of new accounting standards, SEC regulations, and reporting requirements. Manage the company’s response to regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and adapting reporting as necessary.
Mentor and develop a small team of financial reporting professionals. Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability, accuracy, timeliness, and professional growth.
Collaborate in special projects related to mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, or other initiatives requiring detailed financial reporting and disclosure.
Experience / Competences:
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA qualification is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, with at least 5 years in a role directly responsible for SEC reporting within a publicly traded company or Big Four firm.
Solid understanding of IFRS or U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, XBRL, and the preparation of financial statements for public companies.
Strong understanding of internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) re
