We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.

As a member of this team at Raytheon, you will contribute to and execute the strategic and daily tasks for the Digital Operations Architecture team.  This team of senior architects is responsible for applying and operating our architecture practice across Digital Operations by contributing to and leveraging consistent frameworks, roles, processes, and technology patterns to create trusted, compliant and efficient solutions supporting factory operations, supply chain and engineering product development.

You will be accountable for our team cadence, program activities, and extended team collaboration events.  You will participate in and contribute to our architecture repository, knowledgebase, intranet presence, and standard work.

This experienced senior individual contributor will report to the Architecture Leader within the Digital Operations directorate, but will also work across Digital teams, business functions, and other RTX businesses to build relationships, assess, understand, and improve and apply the architecture practice.  You will develop and provide artifacts documenting architectural roadmaps, objectives, and technological standards.  You will also act as a consultant to aid in the development of solutions to drive transformational initiatives and business outcomes.

As an architect, you will use formal architecture frameworks, agile practices, and strategic thinking (including TOGAF, Zachman, Scaled Agile, and DODAF) to optimize our work, and coach architects on best practices and agile concepts as well as mentor staff across the directorate in architectural ways of thinking.

  • Advocate for enterprise architecture by building key influence relationships and socializing architecture contributions across Raytheon.
