About the role

Chief Ethanol is seeking a Production Operator Lead to join the Chief team. This position will supervise daily plant operations to assure maximum output with minimum expense in a safe and orderly manner on a shift basis. Job Responsibilities:

Develop a personal knowledge of all aspects of ethanol plant, ethanol, and co-product load out and chemical unloading operations.
Provide direction, leadership and instruction to production operators to allow efficient plant operations.
Ensure plant operations adheres to environmental and safety rules and regulations.
Communicate plant operations updates and status to supervisor and Chief Industries staff as appropriate.
Follows instructions and direction from supervisor. Delegates as appropriate to operators and ensures tasks are completed as necessary.

Education:

High School Diploma, or GED, preferred

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

1-2 years of job related experience
Understanding of math and chemical process systems
