Details of Research Project: 

 

Technical Duties:

• Evaluate liver biopsy specimens
• Analyze longitudinal clinical laboratory data, histology, and radiology reports
• Immunohistochemistry and image analysis
• Help with IRB submissions
• Prepare research findings for presentations and submission to peer-reviewed journals
• Trouble shoot computer and other IT problems

Educational and other Requirements for the position: PhD

Experience Required: PhD with at least two publications in liver disease research.

Goals/Outcomes of the Research Project: To investigate disparities in liver-related endpoints among African Americans who are members of the World Trade Center General Responder cohort. 

 

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $72500.00 - $80000.00 ANNUALLY. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
