Team Overview: The GLOBAL WHOLESALE TEAM is a new capability being built within Owned Brands. We are dedicated to driving owned brand growth through a new Wholesale Operating Model that brings our exceptional owned brand experience and amazing products to global markets through strategic wholesale partnerships. We aim to enhance the visibility of our owned brands, boost sales on a global scale and win over a diverse range of guests.

Position Overview: The Data Steward reports to the Business Director and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used across global wholesale operations. This role supports the creation, governance, and maintenance of master data—particularly product, vendor, and customer data to fuel strategic decision-making, compliance, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, multi-national retail environment.

Responsibilities: 
Product & Vendor Data Management
- Maintain and validate item, supplier, catalog , and transactional data across systems (e.g., ERP, PIM, DAM, B2B, SAP systems).
- Work with Owned Brand, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely and accurate data setup for new product launches.
- Support wholesale partner data requirements (e.g., GS1/GDSN, EDI feeds, pricing templates).
Data Quality Assurance
- Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and validation rules.
- Identify data anomalies and implement remediation processes in collaboration with engineering and business teams.
- Monitor KPIs for data quality, completeness, and compliance.
Governance & Policy Enforcement
- Support enterprise data governance initiatives by implementing data stewardship best practices.
- Maintain data dictionaries, lineage maps, and metadata for business-critical domains.
- Ensure data compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., privacy, labeling laws, export controls).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the first point of contact for data questions from global partner teams and wholesale channels.
 in cross-functional data governance councils or working groups.
- Support global expansion efforts by aligning data standards across regions.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in data management or governance within retail or CPG industry.
  • Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Oracle, Informatica, Alation, Salsify, or Syndigo.
  • Knowledge of product attribution models, GTIN/UPC standards, and global product data syndication practices.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and go-to-market strategies.
