AGENCY OVERVIEW
Since our founding in 1895 in Marin County as an orphanage, Side by Side has been at the forefront of best practices in child welfare, working with the most vulnerable youth in our community. Today, Side by Side operates in four counties – Marin, Alameda, Sonoma, and Napa – across the Bay Area, reaching nearly 2,000 children, young adults, and family members per year with much-needed services related to behavioral and mental health, early intervention in schools, LGBTQIA+ support, transitional housing for foster youth, case management, independent living support, and special education.

COMPENSATION
This position has a salary range of $104,000 to $117,500 depending on years of experience and bilingual language skills.

- 3 weeks of paid vacation for F/T employees increasing to 4 weeks of vacation after 2 years of service (for all non-school based employees)

JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Programs Director provides program leadership and is in collaboration with the Director of Practice and Program Development (DPPD) and Regional Director and holds responsibility for the quality and integrity of all East Bay clinical service delivery and client outcomes, financial accountability for East Bay Community Counseling (EBCC) program budget, hiring and supervision of EBCC program staff, EBCC contract oversight, and compliance with external and internal policies, practices and procedures for the Clinical services provided in Alameda County. The services under the responsibility of this position include Psychotherapy and Rehabilitation services provided to Our Space clients, EBCC clients as well as Real Alternatives clients. The Clinical Programs Director actively supports and implements a strengths-based, trauma informed, culturally responsive and client- centered approach to working with youth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / EXPECTATIONS
Program Leadership
- In collaboration with the Regional Director, the Director of Practice and Program Development, and Agency leadership, develop and implement concrete plans and initiatives to support the Agency’s strategic and regional goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key county staff who contract for services and/or refer clients, and with community leaders to build collaborative partnerships that support Agency programs and community goals.
- Represent the program and Agency to service groups and provider communities and support Agency fundraising initiatives in the region.
