Physical/Dimensional Calibration Technician (Tescom)

<p data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Tescom/Accredited Labs is seeking an experienced Physical/Dimensional Lead Calibration Technician for our Austin operation. This is a senior-level hands-on position for someone that can operate independently, lead by example, and help drive quality, throughput, and technical capability within the lab.</p> <p>We are not looking for trainee-level candidates. The ideal candidate will have strong calibration experience and be capable of stepping directly into a working lead role with minimal ramp-up time. <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">If you have strong calibration experience and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing organization, we’d like to speak with you.</span></p> <p><strong>Location: </strong><span data-contrast="none"><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Austin/Cedar Park, TX</span></span></p> <p><strong>Employment Type: </strong>Full-Time</p> <p><strong data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and minor repair of Physical/Dimensional test equipment</li> <li>Lead day-to-day workflow and technical direction within the Phys-D department</li> <li>Support and mentor junior technicians</li> <li>Review calibration data and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 requirements</li> <li>Assist with procedure development, process improvement, and quality initiatives</li> <li>Help maintain turnaround times and department productivity goals</li> <li>Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams regarding technical issues and scope questions</li> </ul> <p><strong data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Preferred Experience:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Strong background in Physical/Dimensional calibration</li> <li>Experience with equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, torque tools, scales/balances, force gauges, pressure equipment, temperature/humidity instrumentation, and related standards</li> <li>Working knowledge of uncertainty, TUR, and accredited calibration requirements</li> <li>Experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited environment preferred</li> <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li> <li>Prior leadership or lead technician experience strongly preferred</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Dependable and organized</li> <li>Strong technical troubleshooting ability</li> <li>Someone that can help stabilize and
