We are seeking a highly-talented and adaptable Manager of Process Management to join the Capital One Shopping team, with a focus on data and risk management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable writing SQL and have a passion for data management, process development, and problem solving. The role will encompass a variety of areas and activities, including data and risk management and reporting/communications. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each time. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate a team in delivering flawless execution of process improvement projects. Responsibilities include:
Influence, manage, and own data management activities required of Shopping including data registration, metadata remediation and improvements, control testing, audit activities, etc.
Document new and changing processes and controls and ensuring we meet compliance requirements
Writing SQL to analyze, identify, and correct data issues with systems used or owned by a department
Support Shopping’s well-managed agenda by aiding in risk assessments, problem solving to remediate issues, create efficiencies, and reduce risk
Documenting risks, results, and issues and working with internal partners on remediation plans
Partnering with Shopping team leads and enterprise partners, to ensure clear communication of project requirements
Serve as point of contact for data and tech risk partners
Gather data and reporting; perform initial analysis or potentially evaluate data
Resolve any data issues that may arise from privacy regulations
Providing subject matter expertise on processes when representing the department in projects and other meetings
Collaborate with Shopping team to advise on data management requirements and process for new intent, initiatives, and Enterprise requests
Apply sound inquiry and analysis to make recommendations and decisions
Be intellectually curious to question the obvious, explore options, and develop alternatives
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Human Resources, Economics, or Computer Science
At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
At least 1 year of experience working within financial or technology services on process management, risk management, or project management
At least 1 year of experience with SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Business Management, Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Communications, Computer Science or Information Systems
Lean certification or Six Sigma certification
At least 5 years of experience in process management, project management, complex problem solving, and relationship management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Remote (Regardless of Location): $108,700 - $124,100 for Manager, Process ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offere
