About The Team

Crunchyroll security team regularly works across the organization to protect our employees, our services, and our community of anime fans. The team is responsible for ensuring a secure posture via security operations/ security incident management, security governance, risk and compliance management, enterprise resilience, and business continuity programs,

About You:

• 5+ years of information security experience with experience working with globally distributed teams.
• Experience researching, implementing, and administration of security infrastructure: E.g. logging, IPS, SIEM, EDR, CASB, DLP, vulnerability scanners, identity solutions, file integrity monitoring, etc.
• Cloud-based IaaS/PaaS knowledge and understanding (AWS/GCP) and in-depth understanding of public cloud security compliance controls
• Demonstrated experience with Web-Application Architecture and security fundamentals (IAM, Data Protection, PKI, Network Security, etc.), and system-level security controls.
• Demonstrated expertise in vulnerability scans and content filtering, security operations, monitoring for security breaches or intrusions and help with incident response activities to minimize the impact
• Experience in DevSecops/ CI /CD security, containers and Kubernetes security, risk management,

A day in the life of our Senior Technical Lead, Security:

• Collaborate with team members to implement a strategic and comprehensive information security and risk management program.
• Help build a proactive security practice that identifies and remediates issues through white hat activities, game days, and research.
• Improve our risk assessment/audit/compliance/governance methodology and strategy.
• Maintain solid understanding of ongoing security threats, remediations, and overall risk posture, and lead incident response to ensure that issues are appropriately addressed, detailed, and reported.
• Work with team to measurably improve our efficacy and efficiency to detect, recover, and respond to security incidents.
• Serve as a key member of the Security team and contribute in developing security policies, standards, and procedures
• Analyze security systems and seek improvements on a continuous basis
