What you’ll do:


The Starter/Marshal (Golf Course Attendant) are responsible for the orderly and timely movement of tee times, controlling the pace of play and enforcing golf course policies with sincerity and integrity.

The Brass Tacks
• Greets each guest and educates them on course conditions, course rules and policies, and pace of play
• Maintains communications from the first tee with golf shop, cart staff and ranger
• Monitors first tee, tee off times, turn times and finish times; reporting irregularities and misuse of equipment and property
• Ensures equipment is stored properly and safety practices are enforced
• Interacts with golfers in a friendly, helpful manner
• Responsible for informing players of course conditions and local rules
• Keeps tee times moving on time and in an orderly manner
• Tracks players and speed of play
• Communicates with Marshals on the course about any potential pace of play problems
• Assisting tournament staging, set up and take down
• Remain open and positive in communicating with guests
• Any additional tasks assigned by a manager and/or supervisor


The Nitty Gritty
• Possess excellent verbal communication and people relations skills
• Must possess strong customer service skills and remain calm and work effectively in stressful situations
• Must possess a general understanding of pace of play, golf terminology and rules
• Able to remain in stationary position for minimum of two hours
• Candidates with availability to work 15-20 hours per week (2-3 shifts) are preferred
• Seasonal position expected to end on or around November 15th, 2025. Depending on Weather/course conditions, may be extended

The Golf Club at Echo Falls offers guests an outstanding combination of country scenery and Seattle area championship golf. The layout features the essence of golf in the Pacific Northwest, including two of the most memorable finishing holes the region has to offer. Designed by Jack Frei, Echo Falls provides players of all skill levels a championship experience. It features a beautiful island green on the 18th hole, framed by a cascading waterfall and majestic Tudor-style clubhouse. The Golf Club at Echo Falls is a stunning location for weddings and events and accommodates up to 200 seated guests.
