The Notre Dame Athletic Program

Notre Dame High School Athletics provides our student athletes with an opportunity to develop as individuals and members of the community. We offer 10 competitive interscholastic sports over three seasons and compete in the West Bay Athletic League (WBAL) and Central Coast Section (CCS).

The following athletic assistant coaches are needed:

Varsity Soccer Coach
Lacrosse Coach
Track and Field Coach

Responsibilities:

Support and assist head coach at practice, matches, and with administrative duties
Mentor and train student-athletes in all aspects of sport
Develop and implement basic principles surrounding the fundamentals of sport
Train and monitor student use of equipment
Inventory and properly maintain all equipment
Oversee transportation of student-athletes to and from competition with the use of school provided vans or parent carpool
Be able to work evening, weekends, and travel across the greater Bay Area
Maintain detailed and accurate files
Effectively & positively communicate to athletes, parents, administration, and school community
Attend all mandatory athletic department and league meetings including season ending Awards Night

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:


Two years of college study (AA or Bachelors preferred)
Previous coaching experience (preferably high school or beyond)
Playing experience through High School (college preferred)
Extensive knowledge of sport
Physical ability to perform tasks associated with sport






Terms of Employment:


Seasonal contract
Stipend for season
Coaching positions are not eligible for employee benefits
