As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages while maintaining patient safety. You will be joining a close-knit, hardworking, and supportive team of caregivers that prioritizes quality patient care. This position is $5,000 sign on bonus eligible

A caregiver in this position works nights, 3:00pm—11:30pm. 

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of MRI examination. 

• Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA. 

• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams. 

• Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam. 

• Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service. 

• Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility. 

• Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students. 

• Attend in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT 

• Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT),  or R.T.(S)(ARRT), or R.T.(T)(ARRT), in good standing.  

• OR must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(N) (ARRT) in good standing or be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. Note:  ARDMS and NMTCB are primary pathways
