As the Senior Principal Product Manager for Platform you will act as an extension of the Head of Product for Transformation & Platform and the platform leadership team, leveraging your product expertise to deep dive into complex topics and provide recommendations, uncover opportunities and solve impactful problems.
The role will see you partnering with product leaders in Platform and across Atlassian, and take a leading role in driving strategic topics relevant to the product management strategy and prioritization. You will be responsible for bringing together strategic thinking, customer needs, blue sky ideas and analysis into tight narratives that help us see a future vision and execute on it.You will own projects from inception to execution readiness, building creative solutions and offering high quality and actionable recommendations.
You will work directly with product managers, engineering, design and other teams to help prioritize product roadmaps, deliver strategic recommendations and analyses, and partner on go-to-market strategies.
Reporting into the Head of Product for Transformation & Platform, you will play a major role in inspiring and energizing teams to define big visions, understand complex problem spaces, evaluate market opportunities, analyze customer needs as well as industry trends, and prioritize features and improvements.

Some of the great work you will do:

• Create and define the high-level vision, alignment on Atlassian 1st, 2nd and 3rd party application and data integration strategy and goals, and gain buy-in from leadership and other teams
• Manage multiple streams of work and prioritisation of effort, with some being high profile and company KR’s
• Actively contribute to teams success and ways of working as a senior member of the team
• Drive execution in collaboration with Engineering and Design teams: making trade-offs, anticipating staffing needs, risks, and ensuring frequent and clear communication internally and with customers
• Contribute to the PM Craft internally and externally, building our brand as Atlassian product leaders
• Recognised as a expert in product integration and shares thought leadership product-led growth
• Mentoring of junior team members and providing expert opinion to senior leaders and Founders

• Deep technical knowledge of the Platform Domain

• Analytical abilities to quantitatively and qualitatively understand sophisticated problems. You can gather, prioritize and translate customer and business requirements into successful product strategies
