Equipment Maintenance Technician

Whether you’re an experienced professional or just starting out, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute, grow, and make a lasting impact on industries that power the world’s most dynamic markets.</p> </div></div><p><strong><u>PURPOSE OF POSITION:</u></strong></p> <p>This position is responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment. &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform and complete preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and orderly work area.</li> <li>Familiarity with both manual and CNC machine tool installations.</li> <li>Evaluate, troubleshoot, diagnose equipment problems and recommend repairs.</li> <li>Must work closely with Materials, Machine operators and Plant Managers.</li> <li>Establish a relationship with vendors and work with them in repairing the equipment.</li> <li>Able to read and understand parts and service manuals to recommend repairs of equipment.</li> <li>Will be required to work both independently and within a team environment.</li> <li>Complete all related paperwork and computerized maintenance management systems including maintaining equipment logs.</li> <li>Perform other duties which may be required by supervisor.</li> <li>Parts ordering and inventory management.</li> <li>Will be tasked to work with Facility maintenance techs as needed</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>None</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>COMPETENCIES:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Communication Proficiency</li> <li>Technical Capability</li> <li>Time Management</li> <li>Problem Solving/Analysis</li> <li>Safety Emphasis</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent.</li> <li>At least 2 years of equipment repair experience in a manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Experience with metal and copper fabrication equipment is a plus.</li> </ul><div class
