Role and Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead our repair and maintenance program & special projects team. This role involves managing third-party labor technicians to address reported issues, overseeing vendor relationships, developing reports, validating completed work, collaborating with account teams, and managing a warehouse for repair and maintenance parts and pieces. The program is managed using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) retail operations management platform to ensure efficiency and success. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining monthly and quarterly repair and maintenance budgets that align with company goals, providing status reports to various business functions, and assisting in developing standards to be kept within the organization and taught to the field teams on a semi-annual basis. You must demonstrate the ability to work well cross-functionally across multiple levels in a fast-paced, positive environment, and lead, manage, delegate effectively, and work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party labor vendors, ensuring timely and quality service delivery for repair and maintenance tasks.
- Repair and Maintenance Oversight: Lead third-party labor technicians to address reported issues, ensuring all work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Learn extensive product knowledge to understand the why behind the retail organization's initiatives and programs
- Anticipate potential high-risk issues that could affect project execution, maintaining a heightened awareness of the project status to all stakeholders for needed course correction to deliver desired results
- Project Management: Manage large-scale, fast-paced R&M projects at Samsung-supported retailers to maintain displays and planograms in 18k + locations
- Develop strategies to accelerate program efficiencies, elevate levels of execution, and deliver on company goals to increase the ROI on Samsung’s investment in retail
- Lead meetings and vendor training sessions to ensure the highest level of execution standards
- Validation of Completed Work: Conduct thorough reviews and validation of completed repair and maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with quality standards and client requirements.
- Report Development: Create detailed reports on program performance, including metrics on issue resolution, vendor performance, and budget utilization, using the CMMS platform.
- Collaboration with Account Teams: Work closely with account teams to align on program goals, address client needs, and ensure seamless communication throughout the repair and maintenance process.
- Budget Management: Oversee program budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Warehouse Management: Manage the warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, and shipping of repair and maintenance parts and pieces, ensuring accurate tracking and timely delivery of materials.
- Establish inventory needs for program operational effectiveness to ensure availability to meet service levels
- CMMS Platform Utilization: Utilize the CMMS retail operations management platform to plan, schedule, and monitor repair and maintenance activities, optimizing workflows and resource allocation.
