Who We Are

Our Advanced Radar RF & Design Department has an immediate need for a Production Support Electrical Engineer I.  We are looking for candidates to collaborate and coordinate with our manufacturing facility, Program Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.  In this role, you will foster a culture of trust, transparency, compliance, diversity, inclusion, and accountability.  This position will reside in the Processing Production Design Support section that supports the Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) program.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure Special Test Equipment is always operable while improving test yield

  • Perform technical evaluations of hardware with the ability to categorize failures and systematically disposition failing hardware in a timely manner

  • Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities

  • Communicate to program leadership status updates of hardware failures

  • Ability to travel periodically to manufacturing facilities, suppliers, or customer sites to support the production (up to 25%).

What You Will Learn

  • Gain experience with RF and Digital Electronics that apply to Advanced Airborne Radars .

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.

  • Experience with digital circuit card troubleshooting.

  • Experience with analysis of technical data.

  • Experience with fault isolation / troubleshooting.

  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to understand Lua software language to troubleshoot digital hardware

  • Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations

  • Conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address systemic issues and to prevent recurrence

  • Experience with fiber optic methodologies, standards, inspection criteria, equipment, or tools

  • Experience with Manufacturing Engineering

  • Experience with PRISM, SAP, and CMES

  • Knowledge of LabVIEW, LUA, C, MATLAB, Python programming languages

  • Familiarity with hardware compliance of Raytheon Quality Notes, J-STD-001, and ISO9001/AS9100 standards
