A Day in the Life
Are you a seasoned sales professional ready to make a real impact? Join Medtronic’s Remote Surgical Sales team and help drive growth by selling our industry-leading products, retaining end-user accounts, and building strong customer relationships within an assigned geographic territory. You will be responsible for driving business across the full Surgical Portfolio, including Stapling, Energy, Electrosurgery, Situate, Access & Instrumentation, and Wound Closure. You’ll identify, develop, and close leads, provide valuable market input, and play a key role in the education and adoption of our products.

This position is remote to enhance our competitive edge and expand our cross-functional collaboration efforts. This role will require 25% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities may be the following and other duties may be assigned
Remotely sell Medtronic products and retain end-user accounts to achieve/exceed disposable and hardware sales goals.
Identify, develop, and close leads; refer internal leads when appropriate.
Drive adoption and utilization of products across the Surgical COT
Provide input on new markets, product introductions, and existing products.
Promote and educate customers on company products and services.
Respond to customer concerns and manage problems.
Arrange product demonstrations remotely with accounts.
Support ongoing sales activities including calls, data analysis, and follow-up.
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
Contribute to sales strategy and process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience OR Advanced knowledge of sales processes and company products/services
Proven success managing large accounts and collaborating with multiple team members
Nice to Have:
Experience in medical device or healthcare sales
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to coach, train, or guide other sales professionals
Experience driving adoption and penetration in accounts
Data analysis skills to identify sales opportunities
