Accountabilities:
The Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting HR operations and initiatives across retail and corporate functions within the NCSA region. Reporting directly to the Director of HR, this role will focus on delivering high-quality support in employee relations, talent management, compliance, and HR project implementation. The Senior HR Generalist will act as a trusted partner to employees and managers, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring HR policies and practices align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters.
· Address and resolve employee relations issues, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
· Assist with performance management programs, including goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching initiatives.
· Collaborate on succession planning efforts, identifying and developing future talent.
· Support onboarding processes to integrate new hires effectively into the company culture.
· Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies across the NCSA region.
· Maintain accurate employee records and manage HRIS updates, ensuring data integrity.
· Conduct audits of HR processes and records to ensure legal and procedural compliance.
· Assist in the rollout and communication of HR policies, programs, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with MCM’s goals.
· Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace.
· Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights that inform decision-making.
· Prepare regular reports on key HR activities and outcomes for review by senior leadership.
· Assist the Director of HR with special projects, such as organizational changes, system implementations, and employee engagement initiatives.
· Partner with the HR team to assist in benchmarking, ensuring competitive compensation packages, and handling employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll.
· Support the development and promotion of employee wellness initiatives to foster a healthy and productive work environment.
· Act as a neutral party to mediate conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
· Conduct exit interviews to identify trends in employee turnover and recommend actionable retention strategies.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 5–7 years of experience in an HR generalist role, with exposure to both corporate and retail environments preferred.
· Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
· Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
