Role Mission:

The Senior Manager of Contract Negotiations will lead strategic contracting initiatives for the Radiopharma franchise within Pharmaceutical Diagnostics. This role manages complex negotiations and oversees contract‑related projects that support the organization’s contracting operations and growth. It ensures compliance, drives efficiency, and maintains alignment with business objectives while advancing process improvements and technology enhancements.

Role Scope:

Reporting to the Director of Contracting, this position operates at both strategic and operational levels. The Senior Manager will lead cross functional teams and collaborate extensively with senior leadership, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and external stakeholders. The role influences contracting strategy, optimizes systems, and drives project execution to support business expansion, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

Job Description

Expected Outcomes: 

  • Develop and manage complex, high value contracts across product lines, ensuring compliance with laws, pricing guidelines, and organizational strategy. 

  • Track contract performance via KPIs, analyze outcomes, propose amendments, and guide cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Sales). 

  • Manage and develop a team of 5 contracting and project management professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth. 

  • Provide contract status updates and visibility to Sales leadership and help prioritize high-value contracts for completion. 

  • Deliver training, coaching, and priority setting for the Radiopharma Contract Negotiation team. 

  • Manage the queue for contract requests; assign work to ensure the team meets or exceeds business cycle requirements and triage expedited requests. 

  • Advise Sales and business teams on agreement structure, risks, and alternatives. 

  • Collaborate with various business functions, including Legal, to draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts. 

  • Lead medium to high risk strategic projects focused on contract lifecycle enhancements, digital system upgrades, and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) implementations. 

  • Support new product activities, including sales targeting, pricing and implementation, SFDC account management, external consultant and vendor onboarding, and IT requests. 

  • Coordinate price increase strategies and implementations across all modalities. 

  • Drive cross functional and/or pilot programs, software initiatives, and contract deals as assigned. 

  • Ensure internal and external audit compliance. 

  • Consult with Legal, Compliance, and other business functions to ensure templates meet legal requirements and best practices. 

  • Oversee contract templates, including systematic review and incorporation of best contracting practices and provisions. 

  • Maintain SOPs and guide sheets specific to contract authoring. 

  • Collaborate with trainers to design and deliver training materials for Sales regarding contracting processes, policies, and procedures. 

  • Actively participate in periodic reviews of 5.0 and 6.0 flags to ensure they meet PDx needs. 

  • Identify, participate in, and lead process improvement initiatives to support lean strategies.
