Who will you be working with?

Wabtec employees at the Germantown location operate in a team environment in the digital electronic and component field of creating productive and reliable transportation. Our Wabtec Germantown facility includes highly sophisticated production processes that integrate advanced manufacturing technologies with precision assembly techniques. Team members collaborate across engineering, production, and quality assurance functions to deliver innovative products that meet the evolving demands on the transportation industry.

How will you make a difference?

As the Integrated Business Leader, you will be responsible for SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning. You will partner with dynamic teams such as finance, operations, and engineering teams to create and manage robust demand forecasting, supply chain alignment, and capacity planning. You will be responsible for monitoring plant and supplier capacities, short and long term sales inventory forecasts, and implementing continuous lean improvement methodologies. This position demands strong analytical skills and cross-functional communication, while proactively identifying planning gaps and problem-solving to drive operational excellence. This position is preferred onsite, but offers some hybrid flexibility on an as need basis.

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor of Science from an accredited university or college or relevant work experience

• Minimum of 2 years of cross functional experience in operations/planning/electronics manufacturing in a high-mix low volume environment.

• Strong working knowledge ERP/MRP.

• Experience leading operational change in a complex and diverse environment.

• Demonstrated ability to tactfully challenge the status quo.

• Solid conceptual and analytical thinking and proven ability to solve complex tasks with high level of ambiguity, under time pressure.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization and able to gain respect of cross functional organization.

• Highly organized and ability to deliver results through others.

What will your typical day look like?

• Develop, lead, and execute business SIOP/PSI strategy, yielding improved value/experience for customers and enhanced revenue/margin growth for business.

• Partner with commercial, finance, operations, and engineering teams to develop and drive the planning process to deliver the agreed upon volume forecast and achievable plan of record, ensures gaps
