Our Internships
We are looking for passionate and motivated students who are interested in pursuing a career in media to join our team! This program is a paid, ten week summer internship.
As an intern we want you to truly be part of the team and to make a meaningful contribution during your time on the team. Our internships are designed to involve you with hands-on project work from day one, you will face new challenges every day and work alongside career professionals. We want you to gain a better understanding of the professional field you aspire to work in, through learning experiences, and gain skills to ensure a successful transition there.
The Team
We are looking for a personable and highly motivated intern to support the team in day-to-day administrative tasks, activities and global HR initiatives.
If you’re ready to kickstart your career in Human Resources and build real-world experience with recruiting, payroll, employee development, and the coordination of HR policies and procedures, this is the internship for you.
What You’ll Work On
- Assist in the recruiting and hiring process including posting job descriptions, pre-screening candidates, scheduling interviews and drafting offer letters
- Contributing to the development of recruitment guides, forms, and tools
- Research and create reports related to HR best practices and initiatives
- Assist with new hire orientation and employee trainings
- Active participation in HR initiatives related to driving employee engagement both regionally and globally
- Create and maintain appropriate personnel files and HR records
- Support payroll processing by assisting with calculations and time card approvals
- Set up and maintain internship update blog
- Assist with ad hoc HR projects as necessary
About You
- You are currently an undergrad student
- Completing a degree in Human Resources Management or other HR Related discipline is a plus but not required
- You have demonstrated an interest in pursuing a career in HR through coursework or prior internships experience
- You are a self-starter, who can work independently and is proactive
- You are organized and pay close attention to detail
- You are able to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests and can meet deadlines
- You have strong research skills and the ability to analyze and share findings to gain insights, data and identify trends
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are proficient in MS Excel
- Knowledge of Google Suite a plus
- You must have a high level of professionalism with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $16/hr. To ensure pay fairness, the successful candidate will be offered a salary within the estimated salary range based on a number of considerations including but not limited to: skill set; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organisational needs.
