This position reports directly to the Vice President for Public Safety. Under the administrative direction of the Vice President for Public Safety, the Director ofFinance and Administration serves as Senior Business Officer for the Division of Public Safety and as a member of the Core Management Team which provides
advice to the Vice President for Public Safety. This position is responsible for operations including budgeting, purchasing, human resources, building operations,
management information, payroll, and facilities planning. This position supervises the Division s Finance Department and provides financial analysis of
general/operating funds and grant funds for the Division. In addition, this position manages financial closing of the fiscal year for the Division; prepares financial
reports to external parties, oversees all procurement for compliance with Division and University policies and procedures, manages monthly reconciliation of Penn s
security partner s contractual cost to BEN financials revenue and expenses, manages revenue received under various Memoranda of Understanding, recommends
savings initiatives to the Vice President, and acts as liaison with HR and participates in the recruitment and hiring process, salary planning and administration, and
