Angular - Senior Frontend Engineer

The Team:

At Celonis Process Management team, we are looking for a colleague to join our team of FE developers.

This team is based in Madrid in Our Tech Hub in Azca, Madrid

The team goal is to build web applications that will boost all our capabilities. We implement features, gather feedback and refine, in order to get the best possible acceptance from users.

Our project are core for the Company roadmap and we are eager to have you onboard. 

The Role:

As a Frontend Engineer at Celonis, your responsibility is to find the best technical solutions applying frontend technologies to deliver a unique product, Celonis Process Management as part of Celonis Platform.

We are at the frontier of frontend engineering, pushing the frontend boundaries to make our Celonis platform a reality, by developing new frontend infrastructures to support our extensible / widget based ambition of our product, SDKs and libraries for external developers like our partners, design system to keep all our products with the same look & feel, etc..

At Celonis we work with Agile methodologies. 

Our tech stack is: Angular, Typescript & JavaScript, HTML5 & SASS. 

We develop using SOLID principles and focusing on performance.

The work you’ll do: 

• Create highly performant and scalable components and improve our existing widgets and components
• Write clean, understandable, and testable code
• Work on complex Angular topics and architectures
• Develop features to enhance other developer’s working environment
• Optimise app performance and maintain the existing resources
• Contribute and extend our Core architecture with Angular
• Drive performance optimization as we render high amounts of data
• Play an active role in product discussions, influencing the roadmap and user experience.
• Write design docs a steps to implement your own solutions
• Share you knowledge between your team mates to build a stronger team
• Be humble to learn from others.

The qualifications you need: 

• University degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge
• +6 yrs of experience in Frontend Development 
• Proven experience with Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS 
• Nice to have in worked or working with Blazor
• Passion to develop UX focused web apps
• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms, profiling and optimisation
• Experience in writing and setting up tests (unit, component and integration tests)
• Experience working in an agile, cross-functional team and in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding how to setup CI/CD pipelines will be a plus
• Good communication skills (English is a must!).
