Role Overview- Freelance Sr. Project Manager

 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Senior Project Manager to join our growing team on a project basis with the potential to convert to full time. In this role, you will be instrumental in strategic project planning and implementation, ensuring the successful execution of client projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Leverage established knowledge in AOR promo processes and global launches to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Attend weekly client and internal status meetings to gather project updates and insights.
  • Collaborate with digital project managers, client services, medical and copy leads, and finance to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Maintain project timelines in Workfront, ensuring task creation, updates, and proactively flagging potential challenges or delays.
  • Propose strategic recommendations and solutions to clients, collaborating with the team to find effective solutions.
  • Monitor project timelines and make adjustments as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including adjusting timelines or reallocating resources.
  • Act as a neutral party to push departments to ensure timelines are met and progress is made on all project components.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a healthcare communications agency or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

 

The range below represents the low and high end of the hourly rate someone in this role may earn. Hourly rates will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs.

 

$80-$125/hr
