Maintenance Technician

Summary of Responsibilities

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in pallet repair processes. They ensure all tools and equipment utilized by repair operators are in optimal working condition and promptly address any mechanical issues.

Pay: $23.00/hour

Essential Job Function

• Operate and monitor machinery used in pallet repair.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on pneumatic nailers, reciprocating saws, angle grinders, and other repair tools.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, making necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Document maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Adhere to all Stratosphere Quality safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Experience in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of tool and machinery operation.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move 65lb equipment and parts repeatedly.
• Standing for long periods.
• Full range of motion required for reaching, bending, and lifting.

Work Conditions:

• Work is performed in a fast-paced production environment.
• Work is labor intensive and requires repetitive lifting.
