Job Description
This internship will be partially remote but the hired applicant will be expected to come into the Mount Prospect office. Only local applicants will be considered.
This internship will begin in Summer 2023 and will last for 12 months.
The Brand Marketing intern will critically support the Brand Manager of the assigned business unit within Bosch Power Tools. You will assist and support the team with tasks involving regional localization of brand strategy and activities informed by the consumer journey including: Product positioning, messaging, claims and go-to-market activities. Overall, as a brand marketing intern, you will gain valuable experience in the marketing industry while assisting the team in achieving its goals.
- Support with research for assigned area competitive landscape and brand landscape
- Utilize research to support to the marketing concepts, messaging, and claims
- Assist with task-based activities for launch planning and go-to-market activities for assigned area
- Help maintain and update brand assets, including sales collateral, digital assets, logos, etc. according to brand guidelines
- General team support regarding various marketing tasks, such as presentation support, continuous improvement activities, etc.
- Assist with various other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate (within 6 months) of an accredited program within Business, Marketing, or Creative Arts
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data and research to make informed decisions
- Familiarity with product development and innovation
- Ability to problem solve, bias for results, and strong communication skills
- Team oriented, able to work in cross-functional team environment
- Strong multi-tasking skills, ability to manage multiple project timelines successfully
- Strong organizational skills and be self-driven and proactive.
- Experience with content development and touchpoints
- Familiarity with business-driving integrated marketing and media campaign management, including tracking, data-based optimizations, and test & learn plans (preferred, but not required)
