Project Manager (00384)

Position Summary
PMA has an opening for a Project Manager to manage a portfolio of high-profile aviation projects at Newark Liberty International Airport. Responsibilities encompass overall procurement and construction management as well as key stakeholder coordination activities. These include writing RFPs, coordinating design reviews, performing cost analysis, negotiating change orders, schedule monitoring and reporting, risk management, oversight of construction work, preparing progress reports and presentations for senior management, and performing other duties required to support the client. 

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field required.
• PE, PMP, or CCM certification is desirable.
• 5+ years of progressive management experience required.
• 5+ years of aviation project experience required. 
• PANYNJ experience a plus.
• Experience in all levels of the project life cycle, including design review, procurement, proposal development, scheduling, cost controls, risk analysis, and change orders required. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Experience with presenting work products and facilitating work sessions required.
• Experience in collaborating on project issues and working independently with minimal direction required.

Additional Requirements Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen. Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form. About PMA At PMA, employee well-being is a daily priority.
