Job Description
Position Overview
The Business Partner III assigned to the Development Business Unit acts as a strategic interface between IT and business stakeholders. This role is critical in understanding the unique operational, analytical, and digital needs of the Development team and ensuring technology solutions align with business goals. The Business Partner III will drive innovation, identify and prioritize initiatives, and serve as the voice of the business within IT.
Strategic Partnership
Act as the primary liaison between the Development Business Unit and IT.
Engage with senior business leaders to understand strategic goals, priorities, and pain points.
Translate business needs into actionable technology strategies and roadmaps.
Technology Planning & Delivery
Partner with solution architects, platform owners, and vendors to scope, design, and deliver effective solutions.
Oversee the execution of development-centric IT initiatives including GIS, permitting tools, site prospecting platforms, and project lifecycle systems.
Ensure timely delivery and high adoption of technology solutions within the business unit.
Change Management & Enablement
Lead change management activities including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Champion digital transformation and promote the effective use of tools such as GIS, CRM, and document management systems.
Monitor technology adoption and drive continuous improvement based on feedback.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, enhance data accessibility, and improve workflows.
Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to surface insights that inform development strategy and decision-making.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in renewable energy development and technology.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in IT, business analysis, or consulting roles, with at least 3+ years in a business partner or client-facing capacity.
Strong understanding of renewable energy project development or similar experience.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and align technology with strategic goals.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or MS in a related discipline.
- Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, ESRI ArcGIS, SharePoint, and project management tools.
Base Pay
$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%
