As a Back-End Engineer (API & Serverless Architecture), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from both web and mobile applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, system architects, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in back-end development.
• Intermediate experience with JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Cognito, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and databases like RDS (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Strong understanding of serverless architecture and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and related frameworks.
• Experience with Specification by Example.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
• Knowledge of agile estimations and story points.
  
• Certified Scrum Developer (CSD).
• ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
