Job Summary
McKee Foods is seeking a Packaging Technician to join our team at our Gentry, AR location. This position will report to the Production Supervisor. As a Packaging Technician, you will play an important role on our high-speed production line, ensuring the efficient and precise packaging of our snack cakes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the packaging and inspection of finished food products that may include:
- Packaging unwrapped snack cakes into individual wrapping
- Placing wrapped snack cakes into cartons
- Filling cases with cartons of snack cakes
- Arranging cases onto pallets for shipment, following specific stacking patterns
- Monitoring production processes to meet quality and productivity targets
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Following production schedules and meeting production quotas
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area
