Production Artist

A Production Artist must be highly organized and able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. They will execute changes and revisions to match a client's, Art Director's, or Account Managers’ requests. Experience with direct mail is highly desirable. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know and maintain client and agency brand standards.
• Create comps, mock-ups, and other presentation materials.
• Design and layout newsletters for clients.
• Work with Art Directors when needing additional design work for clients.
• Create, update, and manage graphic file revisions for production. 
• Build mechanicals and prepare flawless files for print vendors. 
• Maintain organized files, visual assets, and file structure on servers.
• Proofread original Mockup. Follow QC procedures outline for work.
• Create and input component codes in the Production Online System (POS).
• Update Milestones in POS.
• Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in graphic design/visual communications/fine arts is preferred.
• Experience in an agency or print production environment is a plus.
• Experience with Indesign is preferred.
• Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
• Must be able and willing to learn additional software as needed.
• Experience with nonprofit organizations and/or direct marketing agencies is a plus. 
• Must be results oriented.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills. 
• Must be very hard working, able to work under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines. 
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must. 
• Must have outstanding organizational skills. 

LOCATION: Remote

Pay Range expected for the position: $38,000 - $42,000 annually.

(The position level and compensation for this role will be determined based on the market location, experience, job skills, and qualifications of the candidate)
