Vice President, Private Market Data & Intelligence

<p><strong>Overview:</strong></p> <p>Guidepoint is seeking a Vice President, Private Market Data &amp; Intelligence to lead the build-out of a structured research product function within our Insights business.</p> <p>Guidepoint has built a differentiated primary research engine and this role will unlock its next phase of growth by transforming proprietary expert insights into structured, scalable intelligence products that redefine private markets research. You will define the research frameworks, workflows, and product strategy that convert qualitative expert insights into monetizable research products such as structured datasets, dashboards, benchmarks, and packaged intelligence solutions designed for private equity and institutional investors.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Own</strong></p> <ol> <li><strong> Research Product Strategy &amp; Development</strong> <ul> <li>Define the future state of private markets intelligence within Guidepoint</li> <li>Design and launch structured research products built from Transcripts, Surveys, and AI-moderated interviews</li> <li>Create best practices around:</li> <li>Research depth and sourcing strategy</li> <li>Signal density across companies and sectors</li> <li>Standardized packaging and delivery formats</li> <li>Develop benchmarked datasets, company intelligence profiles, thematic data packs, and dashboard solutions and shift elements of the existing Insights function toward structured product orientation</li> <li>Build and manage a research product / data science team&nbsp;and collaborate closely with content vertical leadership, operations, and product teams to embed scalable workflows</li> <li>Maintain market understanding and competitive positioning of similar solutions</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong> Signals &amp; Data Structuring</strong> <ul> <li>Establish a repeatable framework for extracting “signals” from expert conversations</li> <li>Translate unstructured qualitative insights into standardized, comparable datasets</li> <li>Define what constitutes high-value signal across diligence, investment, and sector-monitoring use cases</li> <li>Modernize taxonomy and data architecture to support scalable structuring</li> <li>Partner with AI, engineering, data science and product teams to automate signal extraction and advance structured data capabilities (including API development)</li> <li>Implement data integrity, validation, and quality control standards</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong> Revenue &amp; Monetization</strong> <ul> <li>Own commercialization, pricing and packaging strategy for structured private markets products</li> &
