Job Summary
- Responsible for recruitment, building eligibility waitlist as assigned, enrollment of children/families and providing required health and social services once enrolled.
- Overall site support and management and ensure center compliance with health, social services, enrollment, and parent involvement requirements.
- Utilize the Children’s Paradise Program and Compliance Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance.
- Responsible to support the Site Director of Education to ensure compliance with all Title 5 regulations, Licensing regulations, agency policies and procedures, program compliance, and Education Code as applicable. Reference CA Code of Regulations, Title 22 Sections 101215 and 1010215.1 •
- Site support as needed to maintain implementation of funding requirements: Quality Preschool Initiative (Maintenance of Tier 5 – QRIS status), Head Start/Early Head Start, California State Preschool Program, and other funding sources to include documentation in Care Connect and ChildPlus. Customer Service
- Responsible for ensuring daily center cleanliness and organization of front desk area.
- Greet families and visitors upon entrance to facilities.
- Support communication between families and front office staff/classroom staff.
- Ensure food pantry is well stocked daily including weekly food pick up .
- Ensure resources posted are current and applicable.
- Parent communication • Professionally answer phone calls and log voicemails or return calls in a timely manner.
- Conduct professional new parent tours that highlight Children’s Paradise services.
- Greet parents/children on the first day to ensure a positive, welcoming experience.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree with 24 child development units preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (speaking, writing, reading)
- Child Development Permit through State of California – Site Supervisor Permit
- Family centered case management skills
- Valid California Driver’s License
Physical Requirements
• Ability to work at various locations, as needed.
• Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds to support children.
• Ability to bend and squat to interact with children.
