Summary of Job
The Director, Field Medical Training and Analytics plays a vital role in the preparedness of KKNA Field Medical Teams to execute their duties by ensuring the highest level of scientific expertise and Field Medical competence. This position is responsible for effectively communicating the value of Field Medical to senior leadership and other stakeholders through advanced analytics and reporting.
This position provides strategic thinking and leadership in analytics, digital strategy, and training excellence, collaborating closely with internal cross-functional teams across Medical Affairs. This role will also align efforts with business needs by monitoring trends and valuable insights from multiple sources.
Essential Functions:
- Leads the identification and development of Field Medical excellence initiatives, enabling capabilities and guiding behavioral change to create a best-in-class Field Medical team
- Identify the principles, capabilities and learning management systems that can be utilized for effective scientific education and training across franchises.
- Represent the Field Medical Tactical vision and serve as the business voice, leveraging medical platforms, and lead implementation and support for projects in collaboration with global medical affairs.
- Serve as the point of contact for all Global Medical Affairs Capabilities activities.
- Establish and enhance education and support mechanisms to leverage medical insights across Medial Affairs.
- Identify key partnerships aligned to MA data innovation strategy and utilize networking skills to connect with partners in the execution of key tactics and projects to enable digital medical solutions for Field Medical.
- Execute data innovation strategy utilizing systems and analytics to deliver timely insights and metrics in alignment with medical affairs operations.
- Lead efforts in designing, building, and maintaining Power BI dashboards to support Medical Affairs reporting, such as insights into field medical team activity, publication planning, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement.
- Integrate data from CRM systems to provide actionable insights for Medical Affairs strategies, including HCP engagement, medical education, and medical information dissemination.
- Analyze CRM and dashboard data to track Medical Affairs impact, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Build and cultivate working relationships cross-functionally with adherence to company regulatory and compliance policies.
Job Requirements:
Education
-
MS degree in clinical/science discipline or Health care professional credentials required (MD, PhD, RPh, PharmD, NP, PA, MS or equivalent). Doctorate degree preferred.
Experience
-
Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including minimum five (5) years of Medical Affairs / Field Medical experience in biotech/pharma industry.
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Data Visualization Tools, such as Power BI, Tableau or other similar applications.
- Proficient in designing and/or optimizing a Customer Relationship Management system (CRMs) is a plus.
- Proficiency in accessing data sources of differing complexities required. Knowledge of analytic techniques including practical statistics and knowledge of database querying and query design a plus.
- In-depth experience with providing advanced data insights as well as knowledge of analysis tools including descriptive, predictive, and text analytics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation).
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Non-Technical Skills

Demonstrated curiosity to tackle business problems using data, technology, and analytics to develop meaningful, practical solutions. Demonstrated experience in using systems and tools for data warehouse, analytics and visualization functions.
