ER Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant GEMD FT (58223)

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will perform typical emergency room procedures in the care and experience of the patients. The ER physicians will work in a fast-paced and exciting environment and will apply their skills in a highly visible and critical role. GEMD provides non-hospital based emergency care in a hyper-efficient delivery of Emergency Medicine Specialty Services combined with outpatient facility efficiently provides high quality that can yield lower ER visits, lower hospital admissions and create savings.

Required Education

• Masters Degree from accredited Nursing/PA Program.

Experience

5 or more years experience working in a clinical OR

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Valid State Nurse Practitioner License or PA license.
• Current State D.E.A. Certificate.
• Certification by one of the Nurse Practitioner certifying bodies (ANCC or AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
