The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Manager to lead one of our dynamic Defense Supply Chain Financial Analysis teams within the Financial Analysis Center of Expertise (COE). The senior leader will lead and oversee first line managers responsible for Defense material cost management for specific divisions and programs within our Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) business unit. In this exciting role you will set the strategy for the Defense Supply Chain Financial Analysis (FA) team working with your peers and will be responsible for leading dynamic teams in cost management, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and Estimate at Complete (EAC), risk and opportunity analysis, material integration, compliance adherence, and continuous improvement. Position Responsibilities:
Leads, develops and motivates a diverse team of first line managers and employees performing:
Estimates at Completion (EACs), coordinating with programs for updates including opportunity and risk assessment to ensure accurate financial projections as well as assisting in capture and mitigation plans
Trend analysis, analytics, and insights in order to provide recommendations to drive business decisions
Cost management and budget baselines for newly authorized work, ensuring a solid foundation for financial success
Monthly analysis, maintenance, and reconciliation of part-level baseline data against our Earned Value Management (EVM) System
Material integration implementation and execution, enabling our EVM Corrective Action Report (CAR) closure plans
Weekly verification and validation reviews with program analysts/leadership
Ensures compliance to EVM and EAC processes and procedures across Defense portfolio
Integrates and develops partnerships across Defense Financial Analysis counterparts and Program Finance teams in addition to other key stakeholders including but not limited to Supply Chain, Program Management, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA), Finance Systems and Analytics (FS&A), Control Account Managers (CAMs), and Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP&S)
Analyzes monthly performance metrics for business partners and leadership reviews, including identifying new ways to improve performance and mitigate gaps
Develops and implements integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of team strategies, goals, and objectives
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business or related role
3+ years of experience in a finance-related management or leadership role
3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors’ degree or higher
5+ years of finance leadership experience and 8+ years of experience in Finance or related position
5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
3+ years of experience with any combination of Material Cost Analysis, Material Estimating, Finance, and/or Material Accounting experience
Proven business leader with ability to inspire and engage the team
Experience with the Microsoft office suite
